Terms of Service
Last updated: [CONFIRM date before publishing]
[PLACEHOLDER — not yet reviewed by legal counsel.] This page adapts our prior MixFlip terms to Producer Apps. Have it reviewed before launch.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Producer Apps (producerapps.com), including MixFlip and MixSend, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of service
Producer Apps is a suite of tools for audio professionals. MixFlip lets engineers showcase their work by streaming before-and-after and classic audio players. MixSend lets engineers deliver mixes, collect feedback, and get paid. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
3. Accounts & access
You must create an account to use Producer Apps. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
Accounts are limited to one free account per individual or organization. Operating multiple free accounts to circumvent usage or subscription limits is prohibited.
- A separate "organization" means a bona fide, legally distinct business entity (e.g., an LLC or corporation) with its own operations, tax ID, and branding.
- Simply offering multiple services (for example, mixing and mastering) under the same business does not qualify as separate organizations.
- We may request documentation to verify organizational separation and may, at our discretion, require consolidation into a single account or upgrade to a paid plan.
Accounts are personal to the individual or organization that created them and may not be sold, assigned, or transferred to another entity. Sharing credentials outside of your organization is prohibited.
4. Billing & payments
Subscription payments are processed via Stripe. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and agree to the Stripe Terms of Service.
5. Client payments & payouts
MixSend lets you collect payments from your own clients through Stripe Connect. You are responsible for maintaining a valid connected Stripe account, for the accuracy of amounts you charge, and for any tax or legal obligations arising from those transactions. Producer Apps facilitates these payments but is not a party to the agreement between you and your clients.
By connecting a Stripe account, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (which includes the Stripe Services Agreement), and you must keep your account in good standing and compliant with Stripe's requirements. Payouts are made by Stripe directly to your connected account, subject to Stripe's payout schedules and holds.
You are solely responsible for fulfilling the work you charge for and for handling any refunds, chargebacks, or disputes with your clients. You agree to reimburse Producer Apps for any fees, fines, or losses we incur as a result of disputes, chargebacks, or your use of Stripe Connect. Producer Apps may charge a platform or processing fee on Connect transactions; any such fee will be disclosed before it applies.
6. Fair use & enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor usage and impose limits or take enforcement action in cases of excessive resource consumption, abuse of the free tier, fraudulent activity, or behavior that degrades service for others. Producer Apps may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or this Fair Use policy.
7. Marketing communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive marketing emails from Producer Apps. You may opt out of these communications at any time.
8. Content responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload, share, stream, or deliver complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including intellectual property laws. This includes obtaining all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses from any third parties. Producer Apps takes no responsibility for content shared without proper authorization.
9. Takedown & removal
Producer Apps respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that content hosted on our platform infringes on your rights, please contact us with a detailed description of the content in question. Upon receiving a legitimate takedown request, we will promptly investigate and may remove or disable access to the content. Producer Apps reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws without notice.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Producer Apps is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
11. Limitation of liability
Producer Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
12. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
13. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Producer Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
